August "Imagine" Community: Bark in the Park

There will be something for everyone...including all our pet family members.

Join us for a Pet Parade and Pet Costume Competition with prizes and lots of animal fun like Pet Blessings, Pet Portraits, Pet Psychic readings.

Artist visiting us from all over the Midwest will be exhibiting and performing Animal Art. Kids will enjoy free children's activities including our Giant Kids’ Canvas, bubbles, sidewalk chalk and face painting.

Pet Parade and Pet Competition
The Pet Parade registration begins at 6:00pm in front of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center. To speed up the process print out and complete this registration form. The Parade starts at 6:30pm from the Convention Center and will go West on Briggs to right on Court and then through the square and right down on Main and back to the Arts and Convention Center for the judges.

Pet Venders
Goodies for your four legged friends on the square.

Pet Portraits
Pet photos have your family photo taken with your pet. Booth will be setup in front of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center next to the Pet Parade Registration Booth.

Pet Artists
Artist visiting us from all over the Midwest will be exhibiting and performing Animal Portraits and Animal Art all over the square.

Lots of tail wagging fun for our two-legged friends too...

"Imagine" Community
KRUU Radio brings their music and DJ’s to the square with live music and the sound of KRUU live from the gazebo. Imagine Community is all about our great community, honoring our volunteers and artists.

Come enjoy 1st Fridays Art Walk’s take on this traditional fall event celebrating the traditions of Iowa’s German ancestors, focusing on music, food, quilts and fiber arts. Co-sponsor Iowa State Bank and Trust Company will have a plethora of entertaining German-themed activities planned for the Fairfield Square and at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. Our galleries will be brimming with new and returning exhibits of art.

Our 5th Annual Gingerbread Extravaganza features Iowa’s largest display of professional and amateur gingerbread creations is all shapes and sizes displayed in gallery and merchant windows.
